Why use The Thrive Hub?

IMG_7356.jpg

I created The Thrive Hub after many years of working with young people and seeing how much they are navigating in today's world. Life for young people is constantly evolving, with pressures from social media and the internet, school, friends and family to name a few.

Too often, I've seen young people feel totally overwhelmed and unsure of where to turn for support. I wanted to create a comfortable space for young people from all walks of life to experience no judgement, feel truly listened to and supported. My vision is to have a collaborative approach with Schools and families to work alongside each other for the best outcomes.

I have worked within the Youth Service and Education for over 20 years, from running Youth Centres and projects in the community, to being part of the Senior Leadership Team of Secondary Schools.

I appreciate you taking the time to be here.

tESTIMONIALS

Rainbow Amid Clouds

"Emma supported me massively throughout secondary school with my mental health and struggles. She is kind, caring and very approachable and extremely patient. During times when I felt I couldn't express myself, Emma always found a way to make me feel comfortable and heard. Emma has really changed my life, given me the confidence and guidance, as well as a safe space that I needed during a really tough time."

"Emma made me feel comfortable enough to take down my walls and my mask and was the first person I ever felt comfortable to open up to."

"I began speaking with Emma in year 8 and this continued until I left school. Knowing I had someone to talk to made it so much easier to deal with School and home life."

"My most favourite thing  about having Emma's support was the fact I felt safe enough to be open and the targets Emma would set me in order to help me focus and I carry the with me in everyday life right now in order to help me focus. I wouldn't be where I am today without Emma's support in school. For that I will be forever grateful and thankful."
